Welcome

Welcome to the Sam Noble Oklahoma Museum of Natural History, a part of Oklahoma’s cultural and scientific life for over 100 years!  Explore our 50,000 square feet of exhibits and become part of an adventure that reaches back through billions of years of history.  See ‘The Clash of the Titans’ where Oklahoma’s State Fossil, Saurophaganax maximus, challenges the world’s longest Apatosaurus.  Stand beside a Pentaceratops that is the Guinness World Record for the world’s largest land animal skull.  Special exhibitions, educational programming for children and adults, public programs and outreach make the museum one of the most exciting places to visit in Oklahoma.

Sincerely,
Dr. Michael A. Mares,
Director
